Bavaro Bilingual School offers a high level of teaching and learning to our students, we also foster a close relationship between the family environment and staff, where affection, companionship, education, interaction, communication and teamwork are harmoniously reconciled, in an organizational environment that optimizes the achievement of objectives for personal development. 

Our strengths lie in:

• Development of the basic skills of reading and writing to enhance the academic and linguistic potential.
• The exhibition of science activities to aid in the development of critical thinking skills.
• Implementation of music and art as an expression of knowledge.
• An ample variety of sports activities in order to strengthen teamwork, in a climate of respect and responsibility.

The Bavaro Bilingual School is divided into three different units:

• Preschool: grades K-2 to K-5 (children 2-5 years)
• Elementary school: grades 1 to 6
• Junior and High School: grades 7 to 12


Preschool school:

From K-2 to K-4, everything is in English.
K-5 or preschool teaching is fully bilingual with students spending 50% of their day taking classes in English and 50% in Spanish.

The academic program follows a curriculum with the following assignments:
• English
• Mathematics.
• Spanish (reading and calligraphy).
• Graph motor skills
• Art (music and Theatre).
• Computer.

The school is fully bilingual from 1st to 12th grade, with both Dominican and International Teachers.


Elementary school:

At the elementary level (1st to 6th) students spend 50% of their day taking classes in English and 50% in Spanish.

These courses provide the student an important base in the development of academic and intellectual skills. A solid preparation in the subjects of the curriculum promotes and creates the tools needed for all kinds of developer learning.

• Science

Middle and High school:

This is the final stage of our mission and consists of creating influential individuals that promote global awareness. We foster leadership, passion, and character in our students.

In support of our mission and beliefs, the school employs talented and qualified personnel who provide a solid curricular programming to ensure that students develop the necessary learning skills and character.
