Dominican Week

During Dominican Week, while we were raising the flags of this beautiful country, we were also remembering its history.

One of the most important days of that week was Friday, February 23rd, when all the students, along with their teachers, gathered to give presentations on their respective topics related to Dominican identity. Some represented history, others focused on art, and others showcased this beautiful country from end to end.

That same day, we enjoyed a Dominican-style Food Truck run by the Seniors. We can say the toast was fantastic, and the “morir soñando” truly lived up to its name.

But we won’t focus only on what happened Friday, because before that day, there were small presentations during the flag ceremonies. I really enjoyed the ones by the younger students. And let’s not forget the march: it took place on both the first and last day of the week, and was quite well organized.

A Journey Through Every Corner That Represents Our Dominican Identity

Our little ones dazzled us by showcasing the natural treasures we possess. The elementary school students presented artistic and athletic performances, while our high school students highlighted the agriculture and history of our country.
