MEDICAL CENTER

Health Policies
Our full-time school nurse provides medical support for both students and staff. To ensure safety and proper care, families are asked to follow these updated guidelines:

Parents will be promptly informed via phone or email if their child feels unwell or experiences a notable injury during the school day. The nurse may administer prescription medication only if a written authorization from the parent is submitted along with a completed medical form signed by the prescribing doctor. All medications must be delivered in their original packaging, properly labeled with the student’s full name. Non-prescription medications (e.g., pain relievers or allergy medicine) will only be given if accompanied by a signed parent note that includes dosage and timing instructions. Medications presented in unmarked containers, plastic bags, or loose packaging will not be accepted. Each school year, families must provide updated health records and signed consent forms during enrollment or re-enrollment, which authorize staff to handle minor injuries such as scrapes or bruises.
